Drone Stories - Audiovisual Production
LEGO Campaign UPOs: Unidentified Playing Objects
This campaign, carried out by Golin London in collaboration with Drone Stories, invited children from around the world to imagine a LEGO-built toy that could fly through space. The concept came to life as a drone show that brought those creations to illuminate the New York City skyline.
I worked as Creative Producer and had the pleasure of leading the team responsible for capturing the activation. It was the result of eight months of pre-production, during which we coordinated the show alongside the audiovisual production, carefully shaping both the narrative and the visual aesthetic. The show was designed based on the hero images outlined in the storyboard, while the filming fully leveraged the expressive potential of drones.
In a single night, two shows were flown and filmed, delivering four different hero video formats and a bank of hero images within a window of just six hours. This was made possible by the team under my direction, preparing audiovisual templates in advance, as well as a meticulously detailed production plan developed in collaboration with the client.
